What is Arthroscopy?
- Arthroscopy or keyhole surgery is a surgical procedure that allows surgeons to examine, diagnose, and treat abnormalities inside a joint using small incisions and special instruments. The knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, hip, or wrist are the most common sites. Arthroscopy surgery is minimally invasive leading to the least tissue damage and early recovery from the surgery and can be done as a day-care procedure requiring a minimal hospital stay.
